DIRT TRICKS WARRANTY DISCLAIMER & CLAIM POLICY

To initiate a warranty claim, please complete the Dirt Tricks Warranty Claim Form in full.

All Dirt Tricks sprockets are engineered to meet the highest standards in quality, performance, and durability. Our sprockets are built to outlast the competition and are backed by a 1-2 year warranty against defects in materials, craftsmanship, and/or excessive wear.

A sprocket may be replaced free of charge, at the sole discretion of Dirt Tricks, if any of the following conditions apply:

Warranty Coverage

1. Cracking During Intended Use

Any cracking that occurs within 12-24 months of purchase during normal motorcycle operation for which the motorcycle was intended.

2. Excessive Wear

If within 12-24 months of purchase, the original tooth profile has worn beyond .055″ (1.40mm) from its original profile (.110″ or 2.80mm) on the majority of the teeth.

This measurement represents approximately 1/2 of the original tooth profile. In other words, if the majority of the sprocket teeth have worn to the point where more than half of the original tooth profile is missing compared to a new sprocket, the sprocket has reached our wear limit and qualifies for warranty replacement.

Good job! This level of wear is typically only achieved by the most serious riders.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover sprockets with cracking or breakage caused by:

  • Insufficient chain slack
  • Cracked and/or missing chain rollers or guides
  • Loose, missing, or improperly tightened sprocket bolts
  • Crash damage
  • Misuse, abuse, or lack of care
  • Compromised hubs

Compromised hubs include:

  • Ovaled-out hub mounting holes
  • Cracked hubs caused by prior loose or missing sprocket bolts
  • Excessive heat or stress caused by worn wheel bearings
  • Misalignment
  • Insufficient chain slack

Always consult your owner’s manual for proper chain adjustment specifications for your motorcycle model.

This warranty also does not cover:

  • Bent sprockets
  • Plating/coating finish
  • Rust

We do not warranty a warranty. If a sprocket is replaced under warranty due to wear, the replacement sprocket is not eligible for additional warranty coverage.

An original sales receipt or photocopy of the original sales receipt must accompany all warranty claims for consideration.

Sprockets approved for warranty replacement will be replaced with the same model and size as the original product.

Dirt Tricks warranties original products only and does not cover damage to any other motorcycle components.

Dirt Tricks sprockets are intended for off-road use only and are warranted for 12-24 months from the original date of purchase.

International Customers

For customers outside the USA, only Dirt Tricks rear sprockets are eligible for warranty coverage. Counter-shaft sprockets are excluded.
